Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of flow9 Studio at flow9ai.com. By accessing or using flow9, you agree to these Terms.
flow9 is currently provided as a beta service and is operated by an individual developer. The service, its features, and its availability may change during the beta period.
1. Operator
flow9 is operated by Dagmfre Seid, an individual developer based in Ethiopia.
For questions regarding these Terms, contact:
Email: support@flow9ai.com
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use flow9.
When you first access the Studio, an anonymous session may be created so that you can use the service without registering an account. The session is associated with your browser.
You may create an account using email and password, Google, or GitHub.
You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You may not create accounts in bulk or use multiple accounts to circumvent service restrictions or rate limits.
3. Plans, Payment, Renewal, and Cancellation
flow9 has a free plan with a monthly build allowance, and paid plans that lift it. The plans and their current prices are public at flow9ai.com/pricing. You can use flow9 on the free plan without giving us a payment method.
Who you pay
Paid plans are sold through Polar. Polar Software, Inc. is the merchant of record for every purchase: your payment goes to Polar, your receipt comes from Polar, and Polar collects and remits sales tax and VAT where they apply. We never see or store your card details. For payment, billing, tax, renewal, and refund terms, Polar's own buyer terms apply in addition to these Terms: polar.sh/legal/checkout-buyer-terms.
Renewal and cancellation
A paid plan renews automatically, monthly or yearly as you chose at checkout, until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in the account menu, which opens Polar's customer portal. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not charged again.
We will give you notice before a price change applies to your account. The Founding plan's price is held for as long as you keep that plan without interruption.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of a charge, without giving a reason. The full rules, including the pro rata refund on yearly plans, are in the flow9 Refund and Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Model provider costs are separate
Builds use your own model provider API key. Any charges associated with model usage are charged directly by the applicable provider, such as Anthropic or Google, according to that provider's pricing and terms. flow9 never adds a margin to them, on any plan. You may add or remove your provider API key through Settings at any time.
Free credit
Where flow9 offers it, a new account with a verified email address receives a small, fixed amount of free credit, and builds and workflow runs draw on flow9's own model provider key until it is used up. Part of it may be given only once you add a payment card on our payment processor's page; the card is checked and removed, never charged, and one card unlocks that part once. Free credit may wait while you use a VPN or a proxy. The credit is a gift, not a balance you own: it has no cash value, cannot be transferred, withdrawn or refunded, is given to one person once (or once per period, as stated on the pricing page), and flow9 may change, pause or end it at any time, including when the monthly pool it is paid from is spent. While a build or run uses the credit, flow9 chooses the model it runs on. Creating more than one account to receive the credit more than once is a breach of these Terms, and flow9 may withhold, reduce or revoke credit from any account it reasonably believes is doing so.
4. Ownership and Intellectual Property
Your generated code
You own the agent modules and other code generated for you by flow9.
You may read, run, modify, distribute, sell, or otherwise use the generated code, subject to any third-party licenses that apply to components incorporated into that code.
flow9 does not claim ownership of your generated code.
Generated agents may use LangGraph.js and other open-source software. Those components remain subject to their respective licenses.
Your prompts and content
You retain ownership of the prompts and other content you submit to flow9.
You grant flow9 the limited permission necessary to:
- Store your prompts and build data
- Process them to provide the service
- Display them to you
- Send them to your selected model provider to generate your requested code
flow9 does not use your prompts, build content, or generated code to train models operated by flow9.
The flow9 service
The flow9 name, Studio, software, build pipeline, infrastructure, and related technology remain the property of the operator or its licensors.
Except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not copy, reproduce, reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or create a competing service from the flow9 Studio or its underlying service.
5. Publishing Builds
Builds remain private unless you choose to publish them.
Publishing a build makes its prompt, generated code, and transcript publicly accessible and copyable by anyone, whether or not they have a flow9 account.
By publishing a build, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and permissions to make that content public.
You may unpublish a build, which removes it from the public gallery. Unpublishing does not remove copies that others may have previously accessed, downloaded, or reproduced.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use flow9 to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Build or operate systems intended to harm, deceive, harass, or impersonate others.
- Process another person's personal data without appropriate authorization or a lawful basis.
- Attack, disrupt, or compromise the service or its infrastructure.
- Probe for vulnerabilities or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's data.
- Circumvent rate limits or other technical restrictions.
- Automate or abuse the Studio interface in a manner that adversely affects the service or other users.
- Resell or represent the flow9 Studio as your own service.
flow9 may apply rate limits to builds and other operations to maintain service availability and prevent abuse.
7. Connected Applications and Agent Actions
You may connect external services such as Slack, Linear, Notion, GitHub, or Gmail.
When an agent is connected to an external service, it may perform actions using the permissions granted to that connection.
You are responsible for reviewing the actions an agent may perform and for the consequences of those actions on your connected accounts.
flow9 may request confirmation before actions with potentially significant consequences. However, because flow9 is beta software, you should not rely solely on these safeguards.
For important or production environments, we recommend testing agents in an appropriate test or sandbox environment before connecting them to real accounts.
You may disconnect an application at any time, which prevents flow9 from using that connection.
8. Service Limitations and Disclaimer
Each build is compiled using the TypeScript compiler, and its graph is compiled before the generated result is presented to you. This provides a technical validation that the generated code and graph can be compiled successfully.
Compilation does not guarantee that:
- The agent performs the task you intended.
- The agent's outputs are accurate.
- The agent is secure.
- The agent is suitable for a particular purpose.
- The agent will behave as expected when connected to external services.
You are responsible for reviewing and testing generated code before using it in production or with systems where errors could cause loss or harm.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, flow9 is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, or uninterrupted operation.
Because flow9 is a beta service, we do not guarantee uptime, availability, continued support, or the continued availability of any particular feature.
9. Server-Stored Files
Files generated by builds may be temporarily stored on the flow9 server filesystem.
The server filesystem may be replaced during deployments, and files from previous deployments may therefore become unavailable.
flow9 is not a backup or permanent file-storage service.
You are responsible for exporting and maintaining copies of any work you wish to retain.
Exported agent packages are designed to run independently of flow9 wherever the required runtime and dependencies are available.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, or data, or for actions or consequences resulting from agents operating on your connected accounts.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator's total liability arising from or relating to your use of flow9 will not exceed the amount you paid to use the service during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
On the free plan, this amount is zero.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or other liability that applicable law requires to remain unrestricted.
11. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using flow9 at any time. You can delete your account and its associated data yourself from Settings, which takes effect immediately and cannot be undone, or by contacting support@flow9ai.com.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, or create a security or operational risk.
We may also discontinue the service.
If flow9 is permanently discontinued, we will provide registered users with at least 30 days' notice by email, where reasonably practicable, to allow them to export their work.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are made.
If we make a material change to these Terms, we will notify registered users by email before the change takes effect.
Your continued use of flow9 after the effective date of an updated version constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
The courts of Ethiopia will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms, subject to any mandatory rights or protections available to you under the laws applicable to you.
Nothing in these Terms limits consumer protections that cannot lawfully be waived under the laws of your jurisdiction.
14. Privacy
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of information is governed by the flow9 Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
